Some dresses are made for an occasion. ILTA dresses have a way of becoming the occasion.
Designed in London, ILTA approaches eveningwear with a sense of fun that never loses sight of the details. Think hand-beaded fringe, sequins, crystals and silhouettes that move when you do.
The brand was founded out of a desire to create the pieces its designers felt were missing from their own wardrobes, drawing on a shared love of dresses, vintage and travel. That probably explains why the collection feels less like traditional occasionwear and more like a very good dressing-up box.

There are shimmering slip dresses, beaded minis, dramatic fringe and sequins that catch the light from across the room. These aren't dresses designed to blend in, and that's exactly the point.
Behind all that sparkle is a much deeper appreciation for craft. ILTA works closely with artisans in India, drawing on traditional techniques and generations of knowledge to create its intricate embellishments. It's a way of celebrating these centuries-old practices while helping ensure the skills behind them continue to be passed down and evolve.

You can see that craftsmanship throughout the collection. Some of ILTA's most intricate full-length gowns can take up to 200 hours to bead. The Selina, for example, pairs thousands of shimmering sequins with delicate glass-beaded fringe, while other styles play with crystals, paillettes and movement. These are details that don't just photograph beautifully. They're even better when the dress is actually being worn.
At Wardrobe Apparel, that's exactly what draws us to ILTA: dresses that feel special enough for the moments that call for something more, without taking themselves too seriously.
