There are dresses you buy for an occasion, and then there are Catherine Regehr designs you find occasions to wear again.
The Vancouver-based designer is known for extraordinary fabrics like silk and ostrich, thoughtful details (hello, Swarovski!), and silhouettes that feel elegant without feeling predictable.
At Wardrobe Apparel, Catherine Regehr is a designer we return to season after season because of everything that goes into each piece. This is where Catherine Regehr really gets us.
Catherine Regehr's approach to design began far from the traditional fashion capitals. Raised in the Yukon Territory, she later moved to Paris to study at L'École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, where she was taught by legendary couturier Madame Grès.
After working in New York, Catherine returned to Vancouver and established her namesake label.
Today, the company remains a family-owned Canadian business, with Catherine designing alongside her daughter, Eva. Together, they continue the philosophy that has defined the collection from the beginning: creating beautifully made clothing that can be worn, loved and returned to for years.

There is always something to discover in a Catherine Regehr piece.
That attention begins at the sketch and continues through the final stitch. Fabrics are selected for the way they move, drape, and catch the light; embellishments feel intentional rather than excessive; and even the most dramatic gowns retain an ease that makes them incredibly wearable.
It's the kind of craftsmanship you notice from across the room—and appreciate even more up close.
There is also something wonderfully uncomplicated about wearing a Catherine Regehr dress. For a black-tie wedding, gala, milestone celebration, or an evening when the dress deserves to be part of the memory, these pieces feel appropriate for the occasion without ever disappearing into it.
And that's ultimately why we love Catherine Regehr: these aren't simply beautiful dresses for one special night. They're pieces you'll look for another reason to wear.
